Firewood Bundles

$9 per bundle

Our 36-hour dry kiln all-in-one bundles come with everything you need for that perfect fire (wood, kindling, tumbleweed fire starter & matches). Kiln-dried wood sets you up for the perfect fire with less smoke, brighter flames & no musty smell. Each bundle lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours or burn time. Contains all Oak/Cherry/Hickory and is easy to start with an 8%-12% moisture content level after being kiln-dried. Most bundles at stores are between 15%-25% moisture and "seasoned wood" can range from 20% to 80% moisture content.

High Country Fungi is your premier source for the highest quality mushroom products in the WNC area. We supply over 12 of your favorite restaurants in Avery and Watagua Counties as well as Earth Fare and Be Natural Market with over 300 pounds of fresh mushrooms per week. From April to November you can find us at the Watagua County Farmers Market in Boone every Saturday from 8am-1pm. We cultivate 8+ varieties of fresh gourmet and medicinal mushrooms and also produce Medicinal Mushroom Extracts, Grow Your Own Kits, Freeze Dried mushrooms and Wild Foraged mushrooms (when in season). Our varieties include King Blue Oyster, Gold Oyster, Pink Oyster, Pioppino, Chestnut, Black Pearl, Lions Mane, Comb Tooth, Reishi, and Cordyceps Militaris. We grow our mushrooms using all-natural ingredients with no harmful chemicals or pesticides. All of our fresh mushrooms are harvested same day as the market & deliveries to ensure quality/freshness. We have also been featured in The Mountain Times and the Autumn 2021 Edition of CML Magazine.

Trout Pass

  • Each pass allows for the harvest of (2) trout.
  • Barbless hooks ONLY, please.
  • You MUST keep what you catch - No "catch and release" is allowed due to the fragility of trout.
